Consistently recognized as one of the nation's top meteorologists, Rocco Calaci is a proven expert at providing site-specific forensic meteorological evaluations for storm-affected regions through the use of modern applications and technologies. Moreover, Rocco is well versed on assessing site-specific weather elements on a given date or storm, allowing thorough property inspections for structural damages.
Rocco provides in-depth forensic meteorological evaluations, hurricane forecasts, weather reconstruction and analysis, site-specific forecasts and on-site weather support, and consults in legal matters. Rocco assists clients by providing a fair and honest assessment and has the ability to clearly explain his reasoning to individuals at every level including courtroom testimony.
An instrumental figure in the creation and development of NEXRAD (Next Generation Radar), Rocco has also worked for The Pentagon, The White House, and NASA.
Rachel Jackson Operations Project Manager
Rachel Jackson has over 15 years of involvement with forensic meteorology. She is adept at meteorological database research and retrieval of a variety of meteorological maps, charts and information. Ms. Jackson has extensive logistical experience in the management and implementation of quality control on forensic reports.
Rachel has worked within the Department of Defense and civilian meteorological community for 15 years, and is known for her precise data management skills and procedures. Her assistance in the generation of forensic meteorological data and reports has provided various clients with accurate and precise information for over 400 cases.
Rachel performs project & website management and works in the design and publishing of various meteorological websites. Her reputation as a project manager has assisted in the development of different web-based platforms for several meteorological and engineering clients.
Nance Koslik Meteorologist/ Forensic Meteorologist
Nance Koslik has an extensive meteorological background, with over 10 years of professional, operational and forensic meteorological experience. Ms. Koslik graduated with a degree in Meteorology and was quickly accepted to work with the National Weather Service and United States Air Force as an intern. In both instances, she learned about the dynamics of severe weather analysis and forecasting using a variety of meteorological tools, charts and Doppler weather radar. Nance's experience with operational and forensic meteorology covers severe weather elements such as hail, tornadoes, extreme wind speeds and hurricanes. She has also been trained and locally certified in NEXRAD Doppler Weather Radar analysis and interpretation. Her training for NEXRAD was based upon guidelines and directives from the National Weather Service and Department of Defense.
Nance was responsible for issuing severe weather alerts for the continental United States for a variety of clients and criteria. Her effectiveness rating was over 96% in issuing and verifying severe weather alerts for the entire country.
Because of her knowledge and skills, Nance works as a forensic meteorologist, and has done a remarkable job for the past 4 years. She has generated over 100 forensic reports to date, with no rebuttals of her analysis and interpretation efforts.
LRC Services offers forensic weather reports for site-specific locations, highlighting specific severe weather events.
The following are the types of forensic reports offered.
Intermediate ($799.00) – The Intermediate forensic report provides an account of a severe weather event for a site-specific location in a condensed format. This report is generally 8-12 pages in length and provides supporting evidence of the site-specific conclusions. Although the Intermediate satisfies many client requirement, LRC Services does not recommend using this product for litigation purposes. The Intermediate report is best suited for contractors, public adjusters and commercial companies trying to obtain site-specific weather data at a reasonable price.
Advanced ($2,500.00 or $5,000.00) – The pricing for an Advanced forensic report depends on the type of property being situated at the site-specific location given. For residential properties, an Advanced report cost $2,500.00 with commercial properties beginning at $5,000.00. The final cost of an Advanced report for commercial properties is dependent upon the size and complexity of the structure or property.

Site-Specific Forecasting – LRC Services has the ability to provide clients with accurate and precise weather forecasts for locations around the world. Our breadth of experience includes forecasting for areas such as Africa, Brazil, the Pacific Ocean, the Atlantic Ocean and across the United States. As part of the forecasting process, our meteorologists analyze weather elements such as thunderstorms, clouds, temperatures, precipitation, hurricanes, tornadoes, hail and much more.
On-Site Weather Observations – With this service, LRC Services will find a trained meteorologist to observe, measure and record weather conditions at site-specific locations. This service assists in supporting events that may be disrupted by weather conditions such as concerts, sporting events or any large-scale outdoor venue. We monitor real-time weather conditions by radar, satellite and manual observation to ensure the events can proceed without the prospect of danger from impending weather.
Meteorological Software Design and Testing – The LRC Services staff has extensive experience in the design of meteorological software for a variety of uses such as; compiling data from numerous sources into one comprehensible product, the transfer of radar and satellite images into hybrid products and the development of customized weather images specific to a client’s needs. The LRC staff has designed several large scale meteorological software programs for commercial and Federal government agencies.
